Information on founder, Ruthie Wunderling

Has been teaching children for over 15 years.  She has lived in the Bay Area for 26 years.  Is a working mother with 3 young children.  Ruthie attended college at College of Notre Dame in Bellmont, CA.  Was trained in the multisensory reading method of Slingerland 14 years ago.  Was trained as a learning specialist with Schools Attuned by Mel Levine.  Earned her certificate in Educational Therapy in 2001, and started her private practice that same year.  In 2004 she was trained in the multisensory math techniques of Making Math Real.  In 2007 she became a PACE and Master the Code provider which helps with cogntive enhancement, memory training, and increases fluency.  Then in 2008 she also trained in Samonas Sound Therapy which helps with auditory processing.   In 2008 she became was certified with Captain's Log and Sound Smart.  In 2010 she was trained in RAVE-O and PATH to Reading.  2010 she was certfied in Learning Ears program from Sheila Frick.  Ruthie also trained with Gayle Moyers for Learning Ears auditory program and with Advanced Brain Technology with the Listening Program.

Our Business

We know that every brain is differnt and our main goal is to make the mental connections to help train the brain so that it works more effeciently and reduce the frustration with learninbg problems.  All of the Wunderling Learning team members are highly trained and Ruthie works closely with them to ensure that we are all working as an educational team to help each child.
